| Synopsis: |
A poster announcing the opening night of an opera. A crowd of snobs, so called »music lovers« rushes by. The tenor, well aware of his magnificence, has some
troubles in his wardrobe with his button refusing to fit
in his collar.
The performance has begun. The »connaisseurs« having shown their presence, get tired and fall asleep.
The tennor raises his voice — but the button fails to hold on. The singer has bravel held out his note, but button flew into the audience. This event has awakened the audience that now starts fervently the search for the button.
The big melody is over... but the "music lovers" have forgotten the singer and are applauding a little man who found the button. |
